Rummel Construction, Inc. is a Heavy Civil General Contractor, working across multiple sectors within the public and private markets. We are seeking a full time Business Development Coordinator. Candidates must have an exacting attention to detail, excellent time management, written communication, and interpersonal skills in order to be successful in this position.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain Business Development CRM Database:

  • Track all opportunities throughout lifecycle from initial lead to capture.
  • Document new leads obtained from internal and external sources for go/no-go decision.
  • Discuss ongoing status of opportunities with Sector Managers and record updates.
  • Generate report w/ opportunity statuses for presentation and discussion at weekly Business Development meeting.  

 Maintain company-wide Business Development calendar:

  • Track industry events such as trade association meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Document new events for go/no-go decision.
  • Coordinate with Sector Managers to ensure coverage of events.
  • Coordinate sponsorships and registrations.
  • Occasionally attend events on Company's behalf.
  • Generate report w/ calendar of events for presentation and discussion at weekly Business Development meeting.    

 Coordinate company response to RFP's, RFQ's and other client solicitations:

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and formally submit questions to client as necessary to understand solicitation requirements.
  • Lead team effort to determine response strategy.
  • Establish schedule of required deliverables from internal resources.
  • Compile applicable historical project data, photos, etc.
  • Perform response compliance checks and coordinate draft review meetings.
  • Assemble final company response using graphic design software and/or oversee actions of 3rd party design consultant doing so.    

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Ability to be comfortable simultaneously working with multiple internal and external customers is a plus.
  • AEC industry experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Cosential or other similar CRM is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe In-Design or other similar graphic design software is a plus.
  • Strong ability to author, edit, and proofread written responses to client requests is a plus.
